 While we don't have a neuroscience major, we have a research component as a requirement for graduation.  This is a 10-12 week internship in a research lab or clinical setting.  Our students work at other universities, since we are a teaching university without research facilities.  Students also try to get accepted to REU, SURF or MHIRT programs.  It is helpful for those that apply to graduate programs.  I actually try to get students part-time jobs as early as possible, but we are a small school so it would be difficult in a larger institution.  Malinda
