Hi all,

I'm looking for input regarding organizational structure within your institutions in terms of where Neuroscience is "housed" within your college or university. Useful information would be:

1) Is Neuroscience at your school a department, program, or other? (If other, what are you?)
2) Where are you "housed"? (i.e. a Neuroscience program in the Psych department, or a Neuro department in the Natural Sciences division, or a Neuroscience department associated with Social Sciences... etc etc).
3) Is there anything you think works particularly well about your association with other departments, or things that are challenging? I'm thinking about people that might be "housed" with Social Science divisions like Psychology that feel disconnected from Bio/Chem, or vice versa, or other situations of that nature.

Any information would be greatly appreciated- even just an answer to questions 1 and 2 would give me a sense for where most Neuro programs lie within their institution. I'm particularly interested in other small, liberal arts schools. Please feel free to email me directly as well: buffald at westminster.edu.
?

Thank you!
