[FUN_Mail] new Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at WSU

Hi all,

Our college has decided to host a summer research program aimed at underrepresented students for the first time in 2015.  Because it is a college-wide program, there are research opportunities for students who are interested in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and/or global health, so those of you who teach in broader programs, please encourage all of your life sciences students to apply!  The SURE program will run June 1 - July 31 here in Pullman and students will receive a $4500 stipend, up to $500 in travel expenses, and housing.  We are accepting applications through March 15, so if you have students who missed earlier deadlines for other programs, please encourage them to apply.
