Good morning all,
We are in the process of building a new science building and have the opportunity to purchase and install a Cage and Bottle Washer!  For the past 14 years we have washed things by hand and run water bottles through a standard dishwasher, so I really don’t know what I need.

A few questions:
1. Is an interior compartment of about 4 x 3 x 3ft standard?  If so, does it wash enough cages at one time to be worth the money to purchase it and the space it takes up?
2. Do you use detergent injection systems?  The one our architect suggested sounds a little more excessive than we need (given that we’ve hand washed things for 14 years!)
3. Does anyone have a LYNX cage washer?  If so, what do you think of it?
4. What system do you have and do you like it?
5. Many years ago on this list serve the take home message for cage washers was to get a system that can be repaired with “off the shelf” parts, anyone have one of those?
