Please VOTE daily from 6/1-6/8 for FUN member and awardee, assistant professor and Team USA Paralympian, Dr. Cassie Mitchell, for the International Paralympic Committee Allianz athlete of the month on the www.paralympic.org<http://www.paralympic.org> homepage on the right side bar. Cassie is nominated for breaking a 28-year-old world record (women's C5-6 quadriplegic 1500-meter  wheelchair race) as well as the 800-meter at an International Grand Prix track meet in May--a feat accomplished while presently taking chemotherapy for leukemia.   Dr. Mitchell is also PI of the largest undergraduate research lab at Georgia Tech.
