The Neuroscience Program within the College of Science and Health at DePaul University invites expressions of interest in part-time faculty teaching opportunities to begin January 2, 2018. Applicants interested in teaching in any of the areas specified in the posting are invited to apply, and those with qualifications matching school’s scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview.



Successful candidates will be broadly trained in neuroscience, neurobiology or physiological psychology with a strong commitment to undergraduate education in a diverse environment and an interest in contributing to a growing major. A Master’s degree is required and previous teaching experience is preferred. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for teaching an upper level course in Cellular Neurobiology and an overview course- Introduction to Neuroscience. In addition, there will be an opportunity to teach a Special Topics Course in Neuroscience that focuses on the faculty member’s expertise. Teaching load includes two courses in the Winter Quarter of 2018 and one (or two) courses in the Spring Quarter of 2018.
