Temporary Assistant Professor Position in Behavioral Neuroscience

The Department of Psychological and Brian Sciences at the University of Delaware invites applications for a one-year temporary assistant professor position (renewable for up to three years) to begin September 1, 2018. Applicants will be expected to teach up to three neuroscience-related courses each semester geared toward majors and non-majors and coordinate classroom laboratory activities.
The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences serves approximately 1000 undergraduate majors and 300 minors. The department has two major undergraduate tracks within the department - a Psychology BA, and a Neuroscience BS. The department's four interdisciplinary graduate training programs, behavioral neuroscience, clinical science, cognitive psychology and social psychology, train approximately 60 graduate students to conduct basic and applied research while earning their Ph.D. Please visit our website at www.psych.udel.edu<http://www.psych.udel.edu> for more information. QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants for this position must have earned a Ph.D., in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field, prior to appointment. The ideal applicant will show a commitment to and demonstrate excellence in undergraduate instruction. Preferred qualifications include experience in the teaching of neuroscience and psychology courses at the college level. Applicants should demonstrate an ability to teach neuroscience content to both science and non-science majors.
