In addition to Amy Jo’s excellent information you may also wish to direct your aspiring neuroscience graduate students to the Nu Rho Psi Guide to Graduate School<https://www.nurhopsi.com/drupal/sites/nurhopsi.org/files/webfiles/execfiles/NRP%20Guide%20to%20Grad%20School%207_28_13_POSTED.pdf>, authored by Zoe Hesp, Ph.D. It’s a few years old but still great information.
Cheers,
Andy Mickley

Good afternoon all,
I wanted to draw your attention to a NeurOnline post that might be helpful to your undergrads — and to you, so you don’t have to say the same thing 20 times (now that we know they can access it for free). I was interviewed by an SfN staffer at the annual meeting and she wrote up that interview in the post that I am sharing here. The title is, "How to Choose a Grad School (and Decide When to Start)”. These are my thoughts only - if you read it and don’t agree, then don’t share it, but if it helps you, great. Looking forward to seeing many of you in San Diego.
