Dear FUN colleagues,
I'm currently based in the School Psychology and Neuroscience at the University St Andrews in Scotland. I'd like to let everyone know about an overseas research opportunity for students who have completed undergraduate degrees.
Here at St Andrews, we offer the Masters of Research (MRes) in Neurosciecnce. This is a 1 year masters degree that gives students an opportunity to conduct a full year of independent research in a single lab while also taking a small number of elective courses. One unique feature of our degree is that with help from Bruce Johnson, Ian Harrington and Aaron Cecala, we have established a pathway for students in the programme to submit 'Amazing Paper' articles for peer review in the JUNE.
JUNE articles published by last years cohort of MRES neuroscience students are available here:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6057754/

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6057761/

We've tried to make applying to the programme as simple as possible. Applications are considered on a rolling basis throughout the spring semester. Please note that previous training in neuroscience is not required and we do not require applicants to take the GRE.
The weblink for our degree is here:

I would be most grateful if you could pass information on our degree along to anyone who might be interested. Please also feel free to pass along my contact details.
Thanks in advance for your help
