Good Morning!

I'm teaching the Social Brain this semester from a "social problems"
perspective. I'd love to invite visitors to bring their expertise and join
the discussion examining how we study these issues in neuroscience.
Students are also working on a community advocacy project, gaining
management skills, and thinking about the way science contributes to
policy. The topics and dates are below. We'd love to have you drop by the
classroom, or join us via Skype or Zoom!

Topics and Dates:
10/4 - Poverty and Brain Development, Trends in Poverty, Mobility
10/11 - Social Media and Technology, The Adolescent Brain
10/16 - Drug Use and Violence in Families and Neighborhoods, Neighborhood
inequality
10/25 - Bad Law/Bad Health; Healthcare programs and Health Disparities
11/8 - Structural Racism, Race & Gender Inequality
11/15 - Overpopulations, Environmental sustainability, Global inequality

Thank you,
Brandy
