[FUN_Mail] FUN_Mail Digest, Vol 67, Issue 5 [books/films]

Hi all,

On the subject of book recommendations, *Transcendent Kingdom* by Yaa Gyasi
(published last year) is a great read. The protagonist is a PhD student in
neuroscience who is researching addiction. Excellent storytelling, ties to
neuroscience research (several tidbits that can trace back to research
articles), and themes related to identity, family, and more.
