Dear Colleague,


We are inviting you to help us study the repercussions of the pandemic on faculty in higher education. No doubt, the pandemic has posed many challenges for our institutions and our colleagues. Our homes have become our offices and workspaces, and there doesn’t seem to be a clear division between work and home, no reprieve in the form of a weekend.


We anticipate that this situation was incredibly stressful for most faculty, outside of having to deal with the stresses of living during a pandemic. We want to study the potential repercussions of the pandemic on higher education faculty. We are also interested in learning about the coping strategies and resiliency of our colleagues. For this reason, we invite you to participate in our study.


Please use the link below to access the consent form and the 6 scales that are part of our study. After gathering some demographic information about you, you will be asked to complete perceived stress, anxiety, depression, coping strategies and resilience surveys. In total, it should take you about 20-25 minutes to complete. This study is designed for any faculty - part-time, adjunct, full time, non-tenured and tenured, alike. If you taught at a higher education institution during the 2020-21 academic year, you could serve as a participant in our study.
