Dear FUN members,
The Harvard Brain Science Initiative<http://brain.harvard.edu/> is starting a new virtual event series called “Meet a Neuroscientist.” The first event is Tuesday, March 29 at 5 pm EST. The goal is for high school students and undergraduates across the nation to have a chance to chat with brain science researchers from the Harvard community. We offer one hour sessions Zoom where students have a chance to meet two researchers from different areas of neuroscience. These researchers may be graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, professors or staff members. Each speaker gives a short, informal talk about their research and educational background, and then opens up the conversation for Q&A.
We ask that you please help us spread the word about this opportunity! Please note, advance registration is requiredso we can ensure each session is a comfortable size for small group discussion and Q&A.
Questions and suggestions are welcome, especially since this is the first time we are hosting such an event online. Please reach out to Parizad Bilimoria, Assistant Director for the Harvard Brain Science Initiative atparizad_bilimoria at hms.harvard.edu<mailto:parizad_bilimoria at hms.harvard.edu>.
Thanks!
Tari Tan
