Hi All,

Greetings from Sunny Scotland. As I understand it, today is the 'intent to submit' deadline for folks who want to apply for Fulbright Scholarships at a lot of US Institutions.

I'd just like to let everyone know that here at University of St Andrews, we are super keen to support Fulbright, Marshall and other scholars.
We have also recently renegotiated our agreement with Fulbright to ensure that applicants from all STEM disciplines (including neuroscience) are welcome. Applicants can apply to any of our research focused graduate degrees (Masters and PhD).

Understand that Fulbright and Marshall deadline's are imminent, but thought I would reach out to FUN community in case any students in FUN labs might want to take shot in this round. Here are relevant links:

I'm happy to field questions from advisors and/or applicants from any discipline in this round or in future rounds. I'm also very keen to recruit Fulbrights and Marshalls to my own lab for masters and PhD. I'm happy to work with applicants to tune projects to their own interests. I have a liberal arts background (Colby College, '99) so I feel pretty comfortable supervising all sorts of projects. I can offer traditional neuroscience projects but also projects that mix STEM and humanities, involve teaching or outreach, or involve interfacing with industry and non-profit organizations. Applicants from diverse backgrounds very welcome.

Thanks in advance for sending out word,
Stefan Pulver
