[FUN_Mail] Do you teach a cross-disciplinary Neuro course?

Amy Jo,

I teach cross disciplinary courses. I published in JUNE on some of my work.
One is Neur 275 Consciousness, Art and Neuroscience which might be the most
relevant since it crosslists in NEUR and ART. I developed it and continue
to involve artists and I have made, exhibited, and wrote about art as part
of my development of my understanding of art. My intro to neuroscience is
also cross disciplinary and involves art, philosophy, psychology, computer
science, and religion but is not crosslisted.

I also teach an Aging course that incorporates social science and is part
of a cross disciplinary major Aging Studies. I also teach a first year
seminar called FEAR which involves horror movies and content analysis of
the news.

Let me know if I can help out but if you want others (especially younger
faculty) as center stage I understand.

Elaine

The March 31 FUN Final Friday (4 pm ET) will focus on Thriving in
     the
changing landscape of higher education by engaging in cross and

reviews, and limp along with fewer faculty lines, we know that
interdisciplinarity is a key – but Neuro is already an
interdisciplinary science – so how do we reach out even further
     in
meaningful ways? Join us on March 31 to share those ideas.
