The Department of Psychology at Minnesota State University, Mankato, is seeking to hire for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a focus on social or developmental psychology. We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring a specific focus in social or developmental psych aligned with health and/or environmental psychology. We are a collegial department with many undergraduate majors [approximately 500 students], and we also offer graduate programs in School Psychology and I/O Psychology. The required qualifications for this position are:
*Doctorate (Ph.D., PsyD, or ABD) in Psychology or related field. (If ABD, degree must be conferred on an official transcript by May 31, 2024 and received in Human Resources by June 30, 2024.)
*Demonstrated ability to contribute to teaching in the Psychology undergraduate program in the Social/Cultural or Developmental core areas, including documented success or evidence of potential success in college level instruction.
*Demonstrated ability to serve a diverse population and apply an equity lens to this position including social justice and/or anti-racism.
