Hello FUN Friends,

Here is the topic and registration link for the FUN Final Friday taking place February 23 at 4 pm (ET).

Academic rigor has long been an aspiration of programs and a hallmark of excellence. We must, however, reconsider the stock story of rigor. Join us as Dr. Jane Lubischer (NC State)<https://bio.sciences.ncsu.edu/people/jllubisc/> encourages us to challenge the traditional narratives on rigor and help students develop positive records of achievement.

Here is a link to her Inside HigherEd<https://www.insidehighered.com/opinion/views/2023/10/03/transcripts-shouldnt-be-academic-rap-sheets-opinion> piece on this topic from last fall.
