Dear Colleagues,

The Department of Biology at Washington & Jefferson College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in August of 2024. We seek candidates to add to the department's breadth of expertise in Human Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) and contribute to research accessible to undergraduates in a small-college environment. The successful candidate will have earned a PhD in Biology with demonstrated ability to teach A&P and commitment to teaching at a primarily undergraduate institution. Teaching responsibilities will include Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II (multiple sections for first-year nursing majors) and other courses in support of the Biology and College curriculum. The faculty member will have the primary responsibilities of teaching, research/scholarship, and service functions and shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the mission of the College and the Biology Department.
