Happy July to you all,
We hope you have had a summer full of whatever you needed it to be, and no, we are not insinuating that it’s over yet!

The FUN Final Friday (FFF) planning team has an academic year’s worth of sessions (mostly) planned, but we imagine you’d rather be eased back into filling your schedule with meetings – so we’ll start with just one!

Would you like this to be the semester that your students actually read your assigned chapters, articles, posts? Well then join us on Friday, August 2 at Noon<https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYucuypqD0uHNRx9UV3Jvx-qw_aHA7UShQZ> (ET) for helpful tips! We are meeting before the semester begins to provide time to implement change.

A panel of FUN members will present best practices for getting students to read and come to class (better) prepared. As we discuss implementation of these strategies, we’d also like to hear your practices – so please come ready to share.

Register for the August 2, Noon (ET) FUN First Friday here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYucuypqD0uHNRx9UV3Jvx-qw_aHA7UShQZ. Feel free to share this info with colleagues.

And if you want more information on this topic, here are several recent articles from the Chronicle of Higher Education:
