Hello FUN Colleagues,

Greetings from Scotland. Here at University of St Andrews we have just launched a job search for a neuroscience faculty member. We have a strong comparative neuroethology/motor systems cluster with labs studying the neural basis of behaviour in a variety of species. All types of approaches and animal models in neuroscience are welcome and enthusiasm and interest in teaching is well regarded here. Folks from diverse backgrounds and diverse life paths are encouraged to apply.

Please note that here in the UK, terminology for faculty positions is a bit different from the US. ‘Lecturers’ here typically do research, service, as well as teaching. Readers and Senior Lecturers also do the same range of activities. Please note also that this post is a ‘permanent position’ which is the UK equivalent of tenure-track.

In this position, we are looking for an early to mid-career neuroscientist. Mid-Career faculty keen to move their labs to StA are welcome to apply.
