Join us this summer at the Allen Institute in Seattle, WA!  We are offering 3 different educator workshops and a symposium.


Coding with Allen Institute Data: A Python Workshop
What: Join neuroscience educators from around the country to learn the basics of Python coding and how to bring Allen Institute “big data” into your classroom
When: July 14 – 17, 2025

Developing Open Neuroscience Teaching Tools
What: Work with other neuroscience educators to create inquiry-based educational activities that integrate Allen Institute’s open science data into your courses

Cell Biology: Teachstravaganza
What: Collaborative biology curriculum development workshop using Allen Institute data & resources

SPECIAL EVENT
Open Science in Undergraduate Education Symposium
What: Interactive symposium brings together those working to integrate openly available scientific data into the undergraduate biology classroom for a program consisting of keynote speakers, workshops, and short talks and posters from abstract submissions.  
When: June 16 – 18, 2025
