Hi, fellow FUNers. I am elated to announce a new, open educational resource
for behavioral neuroscience education has launched. Introduction to
Behavioral Neuroscience
<https://openstax.org/details/books/introduction-behavioral-neuroscience> is
published and live via nonprofit publisher Openstax. This book has 19
chapters covering standard topics for entry-level college Intro to
Behavioral Neuroscience courses, plus some topics that have not gotten as
much coverage in traditional texts. It also has a methods video section
with 13 common neuro techniques being explained and demonstrated. Each
chapter is contributed by a unique author or set of authors (many of them
FUN members!), meant to capture the diversity of people who do neuroscience
and places that neuroscience is done.

If you are on Bluesky and want to hear about textbook updates and
announcements of resources, follow us: @introtobn.bsky.social

Please feel free to share news of this resource far and wide to anyone who
might consider using it. If you sign up for a free account with Openstax,
you can get verified as an instructor and get access to our instructor
resources which include *premade lecture slides*, *test bank *and *class
group-based activities*.

This resource was funded by an NSF EAGER award.

Happy teaching!
The editorial team: Elizabeth D. Kirby (Ohio State), Melissa J. Glenn
(Colby College), Noah J. Sandstrom (Williams College), Christina L.
Williams (Duke U)
