Good morning FUN colleagues,
Do you lead an undergraduate research lab? When was the last time you considered your definition of success in that space? Ready to consider this and some other new ideas?

Then join us THIS Friday, Sept 27 at 4 pm (ET) as we discuss Ten Simple Rules for Leading a Successful Undergraduate Intensive Research Lab<https://doi.org/10.1371%2Fjournal.pcbi.1011994>. This brief and accessible paper provides some common sense, inclusive suggestions that are worth discussing in community where we can learn from each other’s best practices.

We welcome new faculty just getting started and seasoned veterans as well! There is always a new nugget to take home or a great example to share. Given the relevance to faculty just setting up research labs, we hope you will share this email with colleagues and any other trainee organizations you have contact with.

We’d love if you could read/skim the paper before the meeting, but you are welcome to attend if you don’t have time to do so.
