[FUN_Mail] 2 year Neuroscience Visiting Position for Fall 2025 at Vassar College

Hello FUN,
Vassar is very excited to share an exciting position at Vassar. We are look for a two-year visiting assistant professor to begin in the Fall of 2025. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in neuroscience, biology, or a related discipline by time of appointment and demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate teaching. The successful applicant will teach classes that support, or are required for, our Neuroscience and Behavior major. Teaching responsibilities in the first year will likely include an upper-level biology seminar in an area of the candidate’s expertise, an intermediate-level physiology course with lab, and an intermediate-level neuroscience and behavior course with or without lab. Teaching responsibilities may also include an introductory biology course or another course that supports the major. The successful applicant will have a dedicated office and access to shared equipment for teaching and research purposes. The teaching expectation is five course units per year (3-2 teaching load), with laboratories and lectures each counting as one unit.
