Position Classification Title Program Coordinator
Job Summary

In partnership with Program Directors, oversees the administrative operations of the Neuroscience Program. This includes managing the programís academic administration, which includes coordinating program course schedules, orienting and mentoring students; maintaining student records, compiling information, analyzing data, and preparing reports; coordinates activities of program; coordinates program website and social media; coordinates/provides clerical and secretarial services; and coordinates program purchasing.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics

Program coordination skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory skills. Ability to relate to students, institutional personnel, and the public. Ability to initiate and maintain professional relationships. Ability to handle multifaceted public relations duties. Ability to operate a computer and various software programs. Preferred qualifications include a degree in neuroscience or related field and administrative experience in an academic setting.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelorís degree; supplemented with two (2) years of administrative experience or equivalent.
