Sonya,

Depending on which experiments you intend to simulate, I would consider using MetaNeuron instead. It's free and has a very good user interface. You can see how we use it in my open online lab manual:

Has anyone designed any lab exercises using Neurosim 5 or an older version?  I am thinking about purchasing the software for my Animal Physiology lab.  I searched and I wasn't able to find any existing labs using the software.  Does anyone have some labs that they can share with me?

Thanks,
Sonya
